ESD Working Group

The primarily commitment of the ESD WG is focused on the development and improvement of the ESD database.

The main topics in which the WG is currently involved are:

1. Adoption of a new size breakdown harmonized with the BACH classes;
2. Development of a new layout of the output improving the ratios definitions;
3. Impact study of the adoption of the NACE Rev.2 from 2008 in the national statistics and on the ESD database.

The group is composed by representatives from:

• Banque Nationale de Belgique – Nationale Bank van België
• Centrale dei Bilanci (who also chair)
• Deutsche Bundesbank
• Oesterreichische Nationalbank
• Statistics Netherlands
• European Central Bank takes part in the WG as observers.
