BACH Working Group

The main tasks of the working group dedicated to BACH are :

1. assess the reliability of BACH database with respect to national statistics;
2. continue the harmonization process in order to permit international comparisons;
3. release a report on the activities of the Central Balance-Sheet Data Offices and on the samples;
4. draw up a BACH user manual with detailed information;
5. improve the coverage and timeliness of BACH database.

The group is composed by representatives from:

• Banque de France (who also chair)
• Centrale dei Bilanci
• Deutsche Bundesbank
• Banque Nationale de Belgique – Nationale Bank van België
• National Central Bank of Poland (observer)
• Oesterreichische Nationalbank
• Statistics Netherlands
• European Central Bank and European Commission take part in the WG as observers
